About the project

Erasmus+ Women's Voices - Putting Women's Visual Voices at the Heart of Homelessness Support

The Erasmus+ Women’s Voices project aims to better understand the safety needs of women experiencing homelessness, helping to create more suitable services and support for them. Our international partnership, which includes BMSZKI (HU), Y Foundation (FI), Kings of the Street (SI), Armée du Salut (FR), SOMOS (PT), South East Technology University (IE), and FEANTSA, is dedicated to achieving this goal. Based on the participatory photography methodology (Visual Voices), the project involves organising transnational and local joint trainings and workshops. During the 32-month project period, partners will develop training packages on this methodology, drawing on the knowledge and experience gathered at these events. Additionally, awareness-raising activities (online, European, and local exhibitions) will be held, actively involving women experiencing homelessness to ensure that all outputs are shaped by their voices and experiences.

The project aims to encourage critical reflection and action to bring about change in how services are provided for women experiencing homelessness.
